Smoking
The Best Western Kiefersfelden is a non-smoking hotel. Thank you for your consideration of other guests. In case of violation, a fee from €150 applies for additional cleaning costs. If the smoke detector is triggered and the fire brigade is called, those costs will also be charged.
Arrival &
Departure.
Check-in
Your room is available from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival. Please note that an official photo ID (passport, ID card) is required at check-in.
If you arrive after 6:00 pm, please notify us in advance. Without prior notice we are entitled to re-let booked rooms.
Check-out
On the day of departure, your room is available until 11:00 am. For a late check-out until 2:00 pm, please contact reception. Subject to availability, late departure is possible at an additional charge of €25 per room.
Express check-out: To avoid waiting times, you can settle your bill the evening before. In the morning you simply hand in your keycard.
Late departure
Bed too comfortable to leave early? Stay a little longer. Subject to availability until 2:00 pm. Charge: €25 per night and room.
Cancellation policy
Maximum flexibility: cancel free of charge up to 6:00 pm on the day of arrival. If you don't arrive, a no-show fee of 100% of the booking applies — but only if we cannot re-let the rooms.
For reservations of more than five rooms and for special offers or rates, the respective cancellation times and conditions apply.

We accept cash (Euro), Master Card, VISA, American Express, debit and Maestro cards.
By car
Coming by car on the A93 (E45) motorway, take exit no. 60. After 500 m you'll reach the hotel. Plug in, charge, drive on: there's an EV charging station in the car park.
Parking
Lit and video-monitored parking is available right in front of the hotel, free of charge — also for coaches and trucks. For arrival in large coaches or trucks, please reserve at least 2 days in advance.
Onward travel
We're happy to help at reception with finding train and flight connections, and provide information for your onward journey by car.

Amenities.
Keycard
On arrival you'll receive your room key as a keycard. Once inserted in the holder by the door, it activates the power in the room. To charge electrical devices in your absence, a permanently powered socket (red) is available by the desk.
Please keep your keycard carefully and return it to reception on departure.
Internet

Underfloor heating & cooling
The entire hotel and all rooms are equipped with a modern, environmentally friendly underfloor heating & cooling system. Each room is its own enclosed air system — also allergy-friendly.
How to cool optimally?
- Set your desired temperature on the rotary switch on the wall.
- Keep curtains and windows closed during the day.
- Enjoy your perfect temperature.
The big advantage of the active cooling system: it can easily reach a room temperature of around 20°C in summer while preserving humidity — unlike conventional air-conditioning.

- Close the door.
- Enter a code of your choice (4–6 digits).
- Press LOCK (L).
To open: enter your code.
IMPORTANT: on departure, please leave the safe open.
You can also store valuables in the hotel safe at reception.

TV channels
You'll find the channel list directly on the TV — press the "CH List" button on the remote.
Pillow choice & extra blankets
Pillow too high, too small, too soft, too firm? From neck rolls to millet and spelt pillows: we keep a selection ready. If you need an extra blanket, just contact reception.
Pets
Pets are welcome. The additional fee for your cat or dog covers the extra cleaning effort and is €14 per pet per night. Please bring food for your four-legged friend yourself. Pets are not permitted in the breakfast room — our recommendation: have breakfast in a cosy spot in the lobby instead.
Travel cot
Travelling with little ones? Subject to availability we provide a travel cot for babies and toddlers up to two years for a small fee.
Power
Sockets are compatible with the standard European Euro plug (Type C). Standard voltage is 220 V AC. If you need a multi-plug, please contact reception.
Did you know? The red socket by the desk is always live — even when the keycard isn't inserted. So your phone, laptop or electric toothbrush charges while you explore Kiefersfelden or enjoy breakfast.

Local & hiking bus
Pick-up service: from early June to early October, a hiking bus runs through Kiefersfelden, with a stop right at the hotel — easy access to the surrounding hiking areas. With your guest card (included with your stay), the bus is free.

Pharmacies and GPs are in the centre of Kiefersfelden, 5–10 minutes' drive away. A list with addresses and opening hours is available at reception.

Kiefersfelden has several GPs and two dentists. If you need help, contact reception any time.

The nearest hospital is approx. 10 km away (Kufstein); Rosenheim hospital is approx. 30 km away.
